With a foundation in Early Childhood Education my journey began as an early intervention classroom teacher and home visit educator in Los Angeles, California. There, I engaged with special needs children under three and their families, which ignited my path towards speech therapy.

After furthering my education in communication disorders, I achieved a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Over a span of 15 years, my professional tapestry includes work in public and private schools, preschools, head start programs, and as a pediatric hospital-based therapist. My expertise ranges from collaborating with craniofacial and cleft palate teams to supervising fellow speech pathologists.

My personal practice in yoga has been a transformative journey, one that I felt compelled to share with the children and families I work with. In 2015, I took a significant step by completing the Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Little Flower Yoga. This allowed me to weave the principles of yoga into my therapy sessions, creating a harmonious blend that enriched the therapeutic experience.

The positive impact was undeniable, and it led me further down the path of yoga instruction. In 2022, I deepened my practice and expertise by completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Atlanta. This expanded my horizon to teaching both adults and children, a duality that I find incredibly fulfilling.

Teaching yoga to adults has been a delightful surprise; I revel in the richness of the experience. Yet, there's a unique joy in channeling my inner child as I lead yoga sessions for kids. It's an opportunity to view the world through their lens, full of wonder and curiosity, which continues to inspire and invigorate my own practice and teaching philosophy.

Now settled in Atlanta, I am thrilled to offer my blend of passion, skill, and experience to serve the community and its families.

As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has—or ever will have—something inside that is unique to all time. It’s our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression.
